We have a very busy dental office, and since the COVID pandemic we have made great strides to keeping our patients safe. We have invested heavily in a robust sterilization and safety protocol we had prior to the pandemic. Enter the Ultra-Lyte product, after thorough research into this product and found that it was a very effective virucidal and bactericidal . It was also very effective in a short time and had a good safety record to human exposure. Our office has been dealing with AceTronic since we started using Ultra-Lyte and it has been a pleasure dealing with Kim and John. They have been helpful and very easy to deal with and we hope to continue this mutual beneficial relationship with them. I would recommend this product for any medical setting, easy to apply, highly effective and reasonably priced.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCL), a biocidal agent, which is produced by the human body’s natural immune system to fight infectionAKA “Super-oxidized Water” or “Electrolyzed Water”HOCL is highly effective against a wide variety of bacteria, viruses, fungi, mold and mildew.
Yes, Ultra-Lyte® disinfectant is nontoxic to humans and animals. No known health risks associated with its intended use. Biodegradable and does not harm the environment, after use, Ultra-Lyte turns into very weak brine. It does not introduce chemical or soap residue into the eco-system.
No fragrances added to Ultra-Lyte. Perfect for those with multiple chemical sensitivities. (MCS)Neutralizes/eliminates the nasty odors caused by food or pets.
Main disinfecting ingredient in bleach is hypochlorite and the main disinfecting ingredient in Ultra-Lyte is HOCL. It is well established to be substantially more effective biocidal than hypochlorite bleach (up to 100 times), yet is completely safe, natural and non-toxic. Bleach, however, is known to be toxic, can cause severe tissue damage, and is a breathing irritant.
Ultra-Lyte® kills most bacteria and viruses on contact, whereas bleach can take up to an hour to achieve a similar result.
And the difference between HOCL and other disinfectants is that the organisms that Ultra-lyte touches, are completely killed, and not just disrupted. (Sanitizing does not create this situation alone. The use of “partial-kill” disinfectants/sanitizers does.) This partial-kill disruption is what causes “superbugs”, and is what causes isolation of pathogens in medical, janitorial, and food manufacturing environments.
Ultra-Lyte contains HOCL that reacts with a variety of microbial sub-cellular compounds, interferes with metabolic processes, and kills individual bacterium exposed within millisec-onds. In the human body, white blood cells natural-ly produce hypochlorous acid to defend against disease/ bacteria in the body.
You do not need to wipe down the surface before or after application of RTS200! It is at the CFIA allowable level to be left on surface. However, when applying the ULD500, please wipe down surfaces.
The safest ppm on all surfaces is 200ppm , in this case no wiping down is required after spraying required. If applied directly at 500 ppm, this is also at a safe level for a quick wipe down after application with a clean cloth. Both ppm’s are 100% safe for use following the above instructions. . Note: 200 ppm is the CFIA allowed “No Rinse” level for all food contact surfaces.
You do NOT need to dilute the Ultra-Lyte® RTS200 solution prior to application.
You may dilute Ultra-Lyte® ULD 500, could be diluted by 1/2.

Yes, you can safely spray on all surfaces. Will not harm you, or the equipment. Treat this product as you would water. Do not allow it to puddle or accumulate on a surface. Any surfaces that can be affected by water can be affected by Ultralyte.
No. HOCL is currently not approved by Health Canada for use as a hand sanitizer. However, it is approved in over 20 other countries, not only as a hand sanitizer, but also as a wound care agent. Again, Ultralyte does not currently have these authorizations.
