The AceTronic Cable Experts were contacted by a customer who was looking for a solution to their mold connection dilemma. The customer had an application that required Staubli plates to be wired up in order to test multiple molds.

The cable experts were able to partner with the customer to create a custom solution. Together they designed a system that incorporated power, thermocouple as well as limit switches. An area of importance for the customer was to ensure the plate and its connections were designed in a robust manner, so as not to damage the wire connections when the plate is pulled on and off of the tools. As shown in the image below, the high temperature sleeving along with the cable glands provided the right answer.
