Don’t forget your hot runner cables. Often overlooked, they are essential to the proper operation of your hot runner system. AceTronic expertly designs and builds cables which adhere to tough standards:
Machined
Machined Connector Pins
- Depending upon your application and molding environment our Cable Guyz can determine the type of pins that are best suited for your application, machined/solid or formed/stamped. Let’s have a chat and help to reduce or perhaps even eliminate the issues you maybe experiencing due to something as simple as a pin failure.
Connector Pin Retention
- Pins that are not retained securely are prone to early failure for pin push out. With our stringent QC process our Cable Guyz ensure your pins have zero pin push out.
Wire Quality
- We use 100% percent stranded wire for your cables. Solid wire costs less, but solid wire will break in most injection molding environments. Hot runner cables are subject to thousands and sometimes millions of flexes and movements. Our Cable Guys ensure your cables are built with durability and longevity in mind using high quality parts from highly respected manufacturers such as LAPP , EPIC, Staubli, Pyle to name a few.
Conduit Gland
- We ensure the conduit gland is securely attached to the conduit and is independent from the wiring. Ensuring a positive, secure connection.
Individual Wires
Our Cable Guys utilize individual wires that run through conduit. Again, your company’s environment determines whether bundled cable or stranded wire are best suited. Extension cord-type cables are never an option for AceCableZ. Bundled, extension cord-type cables are less expensive to buy, but they won’t take the flexing that exists in the severe molding environments and at the most inopportune time result in open connections. Thus leading to downtimes and lost production.
